The “Aqari” platform, developed by Sharjah Digital Department in collaboration with over twenty local and federal government entities, has reinforced its role as a comprehensive digital hub and the unified reference for real estate services in the Emirate of Sharjah, achieving remarkable milestones in the sector.

The Emirate of Sharjah welcomed a high-level official delegation from the Seoul AI Foundation and the Seoul Metropolitan Government, in a strategic visit organised by Sharjah Digital Department (SDD). The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the UAE and South Korea in the realms of digital transformation and innovation.

Sharjah Digital Department (SDD) organised the inaugural Sharjah Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Forum, bringing together government entities and leading technology companies in the field across the emirate. The forum forms part of SDD’s ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation and strengthen institutional integration by leveraging the latest GIS technologies.

In a milestone that underscores Sharjah’s leadership in innovation and digital sustainability, the Government of Sharjah, represented by the Sharjah Digital Department, received the Circularo Award for Digital Transformation in Information Technology for its excellence in implementing e-signature and digital certification services within the Sharjah Government Data Centre. His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of SDD, received the award.
